This seems to be a very peaceful spot. I especially like those hammocks in front of each cottage. Is it expensive to rent one of those? And is ther any kind of infrastructure on site? Like restaurants, shops or bars?
to rent these cottages. 3 dollar one night (shared bathroom/toilet outside). they're located near Vang Vieng village on the island and you can just walk there crossing a bamboo bridge. there are lots of bars and restaurants in Vang Vieng village and also some nice bars on the island itself. lovely place - but vang vieng itself is already very touristic (dvd bars & loooots of travellers)
