Restauran Ponistra (yes, Restauran without 't') is on
Birkenstr. 64 in 42549 Velbert (Tel: +49.(0)2051.809096).
It offers 'Bio'-Food which means all the meals are from Bio-farms and meat is mostly (only) a side dish (this would be a Meat-dish:Ponistra - Meat). They don't offer sweetened /sugared drinks either which does not mean, you will leave thirsty 
Ponistra offers separate rooms for smokers (close to the small bar) and non-smokers (through a corridor) so that both groups my happily enjoy their meals....
The interior design is a mixture, partly because it is all self-arranged by the cook's wife (who also did all the paintings) and does sometimes not perfectly fit in the old-fashioned rooms - I uploaded a picture of ceiling and interior to show the contrast:Ponistra - interior 3/3.
Speaking about dishes: They are excellent 
! I have been there a couple of times now with changing groups, friends, family and collegues alike and they all agreed that the food is just great 
. Sometimes an 'ordinary' dish such as Lasagne becomes special just by adding the right spices - and that's how it works out here.
