This is Fryderyk Chopin Monument Valdemossa seen from the side.
This statue of Frédéric Chopin is located in front of the Charterhouse. Frédéric Chopin is quite popular in Valdemossa and a magnet for tourism. There are concerts, festivals, feasts etc throughout the year - all because Frédéric Chopin spent some months in the Valdemossa Charterhouse in the winter 1838/39 (with his friend George Sand).
