This little guy was in the middle of the road as I came around the bend on Saturday afternoon. I stopped the car right in the middle of the highway, put the hazard lights on to let the people behind me know that I'd stopped, and I got out of the car to stop him from getting run over.. Looking back now, not the smartest thing I've ever done, but i just couldn't see the little guy get hurt smile_biggrin .. this photo was taken as he left the road and started to go back to the trees..

no, they're not fast at all, unless they happen to be chased at the time, then they can move. But mostly all they do is sleep and eat leaves. The leaves don't have many nutrients in them, that's why they are always sleepy. This little guy was sitting in the middle of the road having a scratch when I came around the corner. It took about 10 minutes to get from the middle of the road to the curb where I took the photo. I couldn't pick him up, they look nice and cuddly, and they look like they probably wouldn't hurt you, but believe me they can be quite nasty if provoked or picked up. They have big sharp claws that they like to dig into your flesh, and they bite. like i said though, it's only when provoked. they pretty much stay to themselves in the trees...
