... aka 'Schlammteich' is a renaturated area formerly (since 1941) used by the Rheinkalk GmbH to clean those waters with which excavated limestone was freed from earth, clay and silt. The area is now used to deposit excavated earth from the new and progressing Silberberg quarry in Wülfrath.
