Located within the district Neviges of Velbert, the Schloss Hardenberg is a moated castle from the 13th century. It is surrounded by a moat and four small towers which are connected to the main-buidling (this picture) by secret passages.
The Schloss Hardenberg and the towers are not open to the public since 2003 because they are in bad condition and need repairs.
