Rheinkalk has in 2007 started the Silberberg Project. This means the beginning of a limestone excavation is taking place, allowing the work Flandersbach in Wülfrath to operate another 40 or so years.
In this picture you see one of the Granges and Farmhouses that had to be cleared in order to allow for the beginning of the work. For another shot of this Grange: Abandoned Grange in the Silberberg Fields
