This is near the visitor center in Shilo, an ancient biblical place where the ark of the covenant stood first - and now a jewish community in the heart of samaria. Excavations recently have revealed which must have been the foundations of the tabernacel at the time of Samuel, the prophet. Unfortunately this remarkable excavations are only privately founded, since beeing located in an area of unclear political state.
