The Semi-Finale of the UEFA European Soccer Championship 2008 between Turkey and Germany seen on the Jubiläumsplatz in Mettmann - which is right in the heart of the town:
The 'Frankenheim' (basically a pub) had erected three (!) live-screens for the Public Viewing event and approx. 500 visitors were enjoying this mostly peaceful happening...
After a first goal for Turkey Germany scored two times for the 2:1. After that, Turkey scored 2:2 ... just four minutes before game's end - and Germany got the final goal just a few minute later...
Final Result Germany - Turkey: 3:2
