Probably the most well known sight of the city, this iron construction is the tallest building in Paris with 325 metres (including the 24m antenna). It even remained the tallest building in the world from the time of its construction in 1889 until 1930.
This thing is heavily crowded even in colder times of the year and getting up to the 1st, 2nd or 3rd level is not by default fun... it also takes quite some time to line up for the ticket, line up for the first lift (to the 1st or 2nd level), line up for the second lift (to the 3rd level) and hope to be pushed by the crowd far enough to the edges to actually see something.
Oh yes: Lining up to get the lifts down again also is time consuming...
Some more impressions: La Tour Eiffel (lining up for the ticket), La Tour Eiffel (entrance fees), Tour Eiffel (lining up - again), Tour Eiffel (lower half), Tour Eiffel (centre-view).
