Towering at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe is located in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle (aka Place de l'Étoile). It is devoted to Napoleon Bonaparte and features all names of generals and wars fought by France and ist right on top of the Tomb of the Unkonown Soldier.
