In northern hemisphere summer you got winter there e.g. 23°C to 26°C degrees, no mosquitos, only a few tourists, reasonable humidity, sugar cane fields in bloom. In my humble opinion: BEST WEATHER and best spot on Earth!

pinnipedius 		I had 2 stitches in two weeks in July. Well, we also got a cute gecko in our appartment who also helped a bit smile_wink Compared to southern hemisphere summer the mosquitos in June to August are no major problem. However, December, when the weather is hot, mosquitos become a plague and transmit also terrible deseases like Chikunya, a sort of severe malaria.
