You find this in Hattingen's suburb Blankenstein. This object is probably dating back to the 11th century (?). It is housing a gothic chapel, a baroc baptistery, a museum of woodcraft, a museum of an ancient farmhouse and about 1800 musical instruments.
* WE DID NOT GO INSIDE - I HAVE NO IDEA IF THESE SIGHTS ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTING *
The premises are twofold, with an outside estate (within the walls) and the inner mansion.
There is also a restaurant in there often booked for weddings.
